After two weeks with Tabatas.
So I have been doing my Tabata’s for two weeks now. And these things are still killer. I was training so much last week, with two paintball practices, two sets of Tabata’s, and riding my bike to and from work, that I actually had to drop my Tabata on Friday. My legs were so tired, and weak, that I could feel that they could not handle any more.
And that is an important note. It is cool to work hard, and train hard, but if you go into a workout, feeling week in the particular muscles that you need to work, even before the workout, then that is a sign to take a brake. And yes I know this will happen allot in the beginning, and that is very normal. Your body needs to adapt to these new challenges that you are presenting for it. And it will take two to three weeks, before you really feel the difference.
After a month you should be able to do more repetitions in your Tabata’s, and your lungs should be able to better handle the pressure that you are putting then under.
